Retromotive

CGI Ford Mustang Look Development by Krisztina Vichnál, CGI & 3D artist in Budapest.

A CGI automotive look development study of a vintage Ford Mustang. Chrome, paint and classic body proportions are examined through restrained studio lighting.

Classic Muscle

Retromotive is a CGI automotive rendering and lookdev project focused on the vintage Ford Mustang, a car whose design remains one of the most recognizable in American automotive history. The project uses studio lighting to examine the Mustang's proportions: the long hood, the fastback roofline, and the muscular rear haunches that define the classic muscle car form.

Chrome

Vintage chrome was the central lookdev challenge, capturing the specific reflective quality of period-correct plating, which differs meaningfully from modern polished metal. The aging, the slight warmth, and the mirror-sharp reflections that simultaneously show both the car and its environment were developed through layered shader work.
