A CGI automotive environment project built around open-road landscapes and changing light. The car is integrated into large digital environments with a focus on atmosphere, distance and believable reflections.

The Journey

Madeby Krisztina x Porsche: Road Trip is a CGI automotive and environment visualization project exploring the relationship between a car and its landscape. The project uses large-scale terrain generation and atmospheric lighting to place the Porsche within expansive, cinematic environments, emphasizing journey, distance, and the quality of light at different times of day.

Environment

Environment generation focused on scale and atmosphere, creating landscapes that make the car feel appropriately small within a larger world. Lighting was developed for each location condition: golden hour, overcast diffuse light, and high-contrast midday sun, each requiring different adjustments to both the environment and the car's surface response.
