Autumn Palette

Fall Vibes is a CGI motion and material study that uses autumn as both subject and mood, exploring how the warm, desaturated palette of the fall season translates into 3D rendered environments. The project focuses on the specific quality of autumn light: lower angle, softer contrast, and the way it renders organic textures like bark, dried leaves, and weathered surfaces.

Materials

Material development focused on organic complexity, the layering of different surface types that characterizes natural fall environments. Bark, stone, dried vegetation, and aged wood were each developed with procedural variation to avoid repetition, while the overall palette was kept cohesive within the warm amber-and-ochre range of the season.
